課程概述

本課程只講方法及應用，不導公式，特別強調做實驗時使用正確的方法。由基本觀念舉實例說明，未修過統計學的學生，亦可以了解應用。

Using formulae to solve experimental data but not formulae deducing is given in this course.

課程目標

課程目標：
期待學生在修習完本課程之後將能:
1. 了解生物統計推論的基本概念
2. 具生物統計的基礎修習實驗設計學
3. 應用生物統計學方法於實驗及臨床工作
Students are expected to master in
1. the basic concepts of biostatistics
2. experimental design for future work
3. put the statistical methods into practical work.

課程要求

注重每一堂課的作業及學生的理解情形，要寫作業。
本課程只講方法及應用，不導公式，特別強調做實驗時使用正確的方法
未修過基礎生物統計學的學生，可以了解上課內容，修過基礎生物統計學的學生也可以獲得統計推論的知識。注重每一堂課的作業及學生的理解情形，要寫作業。

第17週	1/09	Excel practice (Nonparametric analysis, Two-way ANOVA; Pivot analysis 樞紐分析). 1/16 前由e-mail或紙本交期末報告，討論自己的實驗 (excel) 或科學雜誌 (引用文獻) 上使用的統計方法，寫1頁，中英文皆可，有問題隨時來309辦公室問老師。
